ISA July 2010 How's Business Snapshot Survey - The latest results are in! For the first time in nine months, a "stabilizing" outlook is emerging. 40% of the respondents said the landscape presented reasons to be optimistic. There is a slow and steady perception of the mark and its impact on ISA businesses. In February 2010, 21% of respondents reported a "concerned" outlook as compared to July's response at 10%. ISA's 2010 Annual Business Retreat! ISA's Annual Business Retreat was held at the Camelback Inn in Scottsdale, AZ, March 21-24, 2010. It was an invigorating, power packed week. Sessions and in between sessions were filled with provocative discussion about the tough "stuff" business owners and leaders are addressing in these complex times. ISA's 2010 Award Recipients. At ISA's 2010 Annual Business Retreat, ISA members who continue to make a significant difference in the world of work related performance were honored. An ISA peer review team accepted nominations of ISA member firms to honor the accomplishments of ISA firms. Jim Kouzes, The Leadership Challenge, was awarded the Thought Leadership Award; Management Concepts received the Business of the Year Award; Cynthia Clay of Netspeed Learning Solutions received the Outstanding Contribution Award; and The Spirit Award was presented to Joe Trueblood, CEO of Amplify. These awards are based on a robust criterian/peer review and represent the best and brightest of the Training Industry.
